What to Expect on Your First Visit

Getting to Know You

We believe that the best kind of dental care is thoughtful, personalized care. And the only way to really deliver that kind of care is to take the time to get to know you—to find out about your dental history, your existing issues, your concerns, your goals for your oral health and the appearance of your smile—and to give you our best advice as to your treatment options.

That’s why we typically reserve 90 minutes for a new patient appointment. During that time, we will:

  • Introduce you to our team and show you our facility
  • Take complete records of your current oral health condition, including photos
  • Perform a comprehensive examination
  • Share with you our initial findings
  • Work with you on developing your oral health plan

Maybe that plan involves nothing more for now than maintaining your existing condition through regular hygiene visits.

Maybe it is about prioritizing treatment according to clinical urgency and financial realities.

Maybe it means moving forward with an exciting smile makeover.

Whatever we end up deciding on together, we are going to do it after you have been properly introduced to our practice—and to your oral health possibilities.
